Kniveso started with a simple belief. A cook is only as good as the knife in their hand, and most chef knives out there just don't hold up. Some look beautiful on the counter but struggle through a ripe tomato. Others cut well for a few months, then lose their edge for good. We knew cooks deserved better, so we went back to the old way of making things and built our whole store around one product done right: hand forged chef knife sets.

How We Make Our Knives

Every chef knife set we sell starts as raw high carbon steel. Our craftsmen forge each blade by hand, heating and hammering it into shape before grinding, balancing, and polishing it one piece at a time. The handles are cut from natural materials and fitted by the same hands that shaped the blade.

This way of working is slow, and that is exactly why we do it. A machine can stamp out a thousand blades in a day, but it can't feel when the balance is right or the edge is true. Our people can, and you'll notice it the first time you cook with one of our sets.
